Employment and Training Community Researchers Training Programme (2009) Urban Living

Urban Living – one of the Housing Pathfinder Programmes in the West Midlands – commissioned CfCR to undertake research to explore the employment and training needs of people affiliated to gang culture.  CfCR helped select, recruit and train local community members to become community researchers who undertook the fieldwork for the study.  Much of the success of this project was down to adopting solid action research principles and developing trusting relationships with organisational and community stakeholders.
